What's
in Cyprus.
A considered guide to the island — for travellers who want substance, and the few thousand a year who choose to move here.
§ One
The two sides
of the island.
Some people come for a week and leave with photographs. Others come for a week and start quietly looking at apartments. We write for both — with the same level of care, the same respect for your time.
Discover
the island.
Six cities, a hundred bays, three mountain ranges and the wildest peninsula in the Mediterranean. We tell you what's worth your time and what isn't — by region, by season, by appetite.
Move
to Cyprus.
The non-dom regime, the 60-day rule, where Brits and Israelis actually settle, what property genuinely costs once you add taxes and fees. Written with advisors, not for clicks.
§ Two
A city,
at a time.
Cyprus has six cities worth knowing and each has its own logic. Choose by appetite — for ruins, for restaurants, for shoulder-season quiet, for the kind of bay that ruins other beaches for you.
Paphos
5,400 /moWhere Aphrodite stepped ashore — Cyprus's UNESCO-storied west
Ayia Napa
1,300 /moClub coast by night, blue-flag bays by day — and a quiet hinterland nobody tells you about
Larnaca
1,300 /moThe understated gateway — palm-lined promenade, salt lake flamingos, a city you can walk in an afternoon
Protaras
1,300 /moFig Tree Bay, family pace, and the better half of the Cape Greco coast
Limassol
880 /moCyprus's cosmopolitan engine room — old port, new money, deep wine country behind it
Nicosia
390 /moEurope's last divided capital — Venetian walls, a Green Line, and a food scene nobody outside Cyprus knows about

§ Five · A note from the editor
We started this publication because the Cyprus internet was full of two kinds of writing: tourist-board prose that says nothing, and SEO listicles assembled by people who'd never been. Neither is much help if you're choosing between a weekend in Paphos and a year in Limassol. This is the version we wished existed. Slow to publish, careful to update, built to outlast the next algorithm change.
