A calendar

When to
come.

Cyprus rewards a calendar more than a checklist. The same beach in May and August is two different holidays. Pick by what you want — sea, light, quiet, festival — and we'll tell you the month.

The quietest month — empty bays, mild days, almonds in flower by month-end.

By appetite

Or, choose by what you want.

  • The bathwater sea July–September. Sea at 26-28°C; Augusts are crowded, Septembers are not.
  • Beaches without the crowd May and October. Sea swimmable, prices lower, fewer umbrellas.
  • Hiking weather March, April, November. Cool enough to walk all day, green enough to enjoy looking around.
  • A real festival Limassol Carnival (February) or Wine Festival (September).
  • Empty island, mild days January or December. Half-price hotels, soft light, a different Cyprus.
