Latchi, Cyprus: is this quiet Akamas harbour right for your trip?

Latchi is a good choice if you want Cyprus at its quieter, more outdoorsy end: a small working harbour, a straightforward beach and easy access to the Akamas coast. It is not the right base for a big-resort week, nightlife or a walk-everywhere sightseeing break. Think of it instead as the place to slow down, take a boat day when the sea is kind, and leave room for a beach, a trail or a long lunch.

Confirm them directly before paying, especially outside peak summer. A calm-looking harbour does not guarantee comfortable conditions farther along the coast.

Latchi also makes the Akamas Peninsula more approachable. The official western route links the harbour with rocky coves, the Baths of Aphrodite and the wider Akamas landscape. Do you need a car in Latchi?
